Today was pretty sunny, so I went down to SoHo with my friend Melissa for some crafty shopping. We went to Kate’s Paperie and checked out the Halloween decorations and greeting cards. I ended up picking up this kraft cat mask that I plan on utilizing for a Cat Woman costume someday. I already have a cat mask but now I have one that I can make my own! We also went to Purl SoHo and I marveled at all the beautiful yarns. The hand-spun and cashmere yarns are my absolute favorite, and of course they happen to be the most expensive :( Anyway, I bought an embroidery hoop which may come in handy for a project I have coming up (more about that later!) but in the meantime I’m off to go do some practice on it.
